Oncology Nursing Society

The Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society empowers oncology nurses through education, advocacy, and networking, enhancing cancer care and improving patient outcomes in the community.

On behalf of the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Oncology Nursing Society, I am pleased to announce our upcoming annual education fair, Oncology Care in Motion. &nbsp;We are looking forward to a successful event. &nbsp;The Education Fair will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 7:30am to 3:00pm&nbsp;(vendor set-up will take place between 7:00-7:30am). &nbsp;This year&#39;s event will be held at the Merriam Community Center located at 6040 Slater St., Merriam, KS 66202. &nbsp; The education fair will be attended by oncology nurses from all areas of practice, so we are looking to have exhibitors from the entire cancer spectrum. &nbsp;The cost for a table (5ft. x 1.5ft) at this year&#39;s event is $1200. &nbsp;Vendors may purchase more than 1 exhibit table . &nbsp;A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. &nbsp;Please use this platform to register/pay for table(s). &nbsp; We have limited vendor space available, so if you are interested in exhibiting, please register as soon as possible. &nbsp;Tables are first come basis. &nbsp;Completed registration and payment must be received by September 18, 2026,&nbsp;to guarantee your table for this event. &nbsp; If you would like more information, please feel free to reach out and I will be happy to answer any questions. &nbsp;Thank you for your support of the Greater Kansas City ONS Chapter! Fall Education Fair: Oncology Care in Motion

Prepare with confidence for the TCTCN exam in a focused, local review course led by Oncology Nursing Society colleagues. This session supports oncology nurses committed to safe, evidence‑based transplant and cellular therapy care. Both review courses will be hosted by Chris Rimkus APRN, MSN, AOCN.&nbsp; We will walk through key exam content, review current practice standards, and share practical test‑taking tips. Register to strengthen your knowledge, connect with peers, and reinforce the high‑quality care our Greater Kansas City oncology community provides every day. Sunday December 6th 7:20 am-4:30 pm (zoom opens at 7 am) - TCTCN Review course via Zoom (link to be sent with receipt) ***Acknowledgement *** Participants must log in 10 minutes prior to the start of the program via Zoom. You must login on a computer or mobile App to receive continuing education credit. It is not sufficient to participate only by phone. &nbsp; Participants must attend the entire day; no partial credit will be awarded. Participants will be emailed a link to the online evaluation and will have one week to complete it to receive credit.&nbsp; The relevant certificates will be emailed to eligible attendees within 4 weeks of the event.
