One Check Away, Inc. honors Carrie Hopkins, who provided shelter, food access, dignity and opportunity to neighbors in need. Founded by her granddaughter, U.S. Army veteran Michelle Paul, we help families move from crisis to stability through CHECK COAST preventive healthcare, CHECK HAVEN housing stabilization and CHECK AHEAD scholarships. Founded on the legacy of a grandmother who showed what it means to show up for people, we now operate three programs across Sarasota, Manatee and SW Florida Counties — Check Coast (mobile health and prevention), Check Haven (housing navigation), and Check Ahead (educational empowerment).Your gift goes directly into these programs.
