One Jamaica Global Foundation fosters community through cultural events and initiatives, focusing on educational support for Jamaican schools by providing essential resources and materials to enhance learning opportunities for students.

Celebrate Emancipendence with community, food, and connection. 🇯🇲🔥 Jamaica celebrates its 64th year of receiving independence from British Colonial rule. Our Emancipation from Slavery happened on August 1st, 1838 and it wasn&rsquo;t until more than 100 years later that we became our very own independent country. Since then, August 1st through 6th had become iconic dates in our countries history commemorated with National events such as Festivals and Galas. This year is no different in Jamaica but as I am not home this time around, I am celebrating in my very own way and I would love to share a part of my culture with you Your Contribution of $10 is to help offset the cost a bit and any person who knows good Jamaican food costs more than $10. In addition to that, for each plate received, $5 will be donated to the One Jamaica Global Foundation. I currently sit as part of the Board of Directors and We are a 501C certified non profit organization that aims to help our community of Jamaica in areas that are underserved such as Education, Community Development, Healthcare and so on. One of our last projects was Hurricane Relief for affected communities after Hurricane Melissa passed last October. Emancipendence Cookout

Join One Jamaica Global Foundation for an evening of Caribbean culture, community, music, laughter, and purpose at our Caribbean Game Night: Play for a Purpose.This event is designed to bring people together for a relaxed, family-friendly night filled with classic Caribbean games, good vibes, friendly competition, music, dancing, and meaningful connection. Guests will enjoy games such as&nbsp;dominoes, ludi, cards, board games, and other table games, while supporting a mission that reaches beyond the room.There will be&nbsp;music throughout the evening, a&nbsp;dance floor for guests to enjoy, and food will be available for purchase separately.Proceeds from this event will support One Jamaica Global Foundation&rsquo;s charitable work, with a special focus on our&nbsp;2026 Education Initiative.
