Our principle service and purposes of this non-profit organization are to grow and distribute produce to food-insecure residents of Scottsbluff and Gering, Nebraska. We work along with Growing Together Nebraska, a UNL-Extension Program. This passive solar greenhouse, with its 30-year old fig tree, and surrounding lot is owned by the City of Gering, Neb. and managed by volunteers. We provide a respite for the city citizens along our pathway on the south side of the property to walk and/or sit and enjoy the property.

The Oregon Trail Community Foundation’s Book of Memories is a wonderful way to remember someone who has been important in your life, or the life of a friend or business associate. All entries are welcome, and will promptly be recorded in this historic book as a memorial to the deceased. The Book of Memories is on display at Riverstone Bank, at 2002 Broadway, Scottsbluff, Nebraska and on our website.Donations in memory of your loved ones will support community projects, charitable organizations and worthy causes. Your loved one's name, date of birth and date of death will be memorialized in the "Book of Memory" A minimum donation of $25.00 is recommended.“Dedicated to the memories of those we cherish, the Book of Memories will create a lasting legacy for future generations.”

Our mission is to create a beautiful memorial park to honor the memory of all of our precious children that have passed. This Angel will be a symbol that will represent and honor our children. Our children will live in our hearts and lives forever.
