LXCL:Origin Theatre Company champions Irish and Irish-diaspora playwrights, bringing their stories to New York stages.

Two women called Lisa meet in a psychiatric institution, where each tells their story about moving to a new city and crossing paths with one another. Directed by &eacute; boylan and starring Owen Laheen and Katherine Laheen. Enda Walsh&#39;s play The Same was first produced by Corcadorca Theatre Company at the Old Cork Prison, Cork, in February 2017, and subsequently as part of the Galway International Arts Festival at Galway Airport in July 2019. It won The Irish Times Irish Theatre Award for Best Play.

Celebrate Enda Walsh and guests with Origin Theatre Company at The American Irish Historical Society on the Upper East Side. Origin will be honoring Enda Walsh with the title Ard Seancha&iacute; (&quot;Chief Storyteller&quot;) and celebrating the legacy of his work in Ireland and America.&nbsp; Doors open at 6:30PM, and the celebration will kick off at 7PM. 2026 Origin Theatre Gala Celebrating Enda Walsh

Mr and Mrs Twit are not very nice. In fact they&#39;re extremely nasty. They&#39;re nasty to each other, and they&#39;re vile to everyone else.&nbsp;They hold a family of monkeys hostage in a cage and force them to stand on their heads. ALL THE TIME. We told you they weren&#39;t very nice.&nbsp;Can the monkeys find a way to show those vicious Twits what for? Mischievously adapted from Roald Dahl&#39;s story, acclaimed playwright Enda Walsh has turned The Twits upside down. The Twits was first performed at the Royal Court Theatre, London, in April 2015.
