OUT Ensemble

LXCL:OUT Ensemble is a wind quintet of LGBTQ+ musicians performing and commissioning the works of queer composers to increase representation of the LGBTQ+ community in classical music. Alongside uplifting queer composers of the past, OUT highlights new works by contemporary composers. Through their work, OUT seeks to inspire audience to embrace their authentic identities just as the musicians do onstage.

OUT Ensemble, based in the United States, is a wind quintet of LGBTQ+ musicians performing and commissioning the works of queer composers. By increasing representation of the queer community in classical music, the quintet hopes to inspire audiences to embrace their authentic identities and bring classical music into communities across the globe.&nbsp; Enjoy a program exploring the breadth of wind quintet colors, featuring three original commissions for OUT Ensemble.
