Join local business leaders for our General Membership Luncheon 🌊 to connect, share updates, and stay informed about what’s happening in Palacios.The Palacios Chamber of Commerce invites members, business representatives and community guests to its General Membership Luncheon and Meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Palacios Educational Pavilion. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., followed by the program at noon. Brittany Matthews, Deputy Director of The Crisis Center, will present “Safety Starts with You,” highlighting a child-abuse prevention campaign serving Matagorda and Wharton counties. Complimentary Child Abuse Prevention signs will also be available for participating businesses. The $15 lunch, catered by Fishville Trading Post, includes chicken spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, a cookie, tea and water. Those planning to eat must RSVP by noon Monday, August 3, so an accurate meal count can be submitted. Guests who reserve a meal will be responsible for the $15 cost.
