The Parent Teacher Association of The Neighborhood School fosters community engagement, supports educational enrichment, and advocates for student needs through fundraising and collaborative events, enhancing the learning experience for all students.

Join us for our TNS Annual Spring Fling event! This year we are offering something VERY special! Unlimited drinks &amp; fun at The Last Resort Cocktail Lounge. Need childcare? No problem! Buy a child ticket that includes childcare for the event time at The Rainbow play space. While the kids play, the adults will snack, drink, dance and bid on amazing art and other auction items to help raise money for The Neighborhood School. All proceeds from this event go directly into the programs, trips and supplies that help our kids to have an amazing, enriching, and educational experience at the Neighborhood School.&nbsp; Buy a ticket for you and your family and consider purchasing a ticket for a teacher or other community member to come. As always, we have community tickets available at a discounted rate.&nbsp; Space is limited and no tickets will be sold at the door so please buy your tickets ASAP! The family ticket includes snacks &amp; drinks for YOU, pizza and childcare for your child for the entire duration of the party! If you have another adult in your family coming, they will need to purchase a single adult ticket as well. We hope EVERYONE will join in on the fun as this is TNS&#39;s biggest family gala event! TNS 2026 Spring Fling at The Last Resort

Shake off the winter blues and join us for a relaxed adults-only evening featuring cocktails, mocktails, light bites, and a guided wine tasting led by a fellow TNS parent and PTA Co-President Elena Matt. This event is a PTA fundraiser, and thanks to generous sponsorship, 100% of ticket proceeds go directly to the PTA and are fully tax deductible. Funds raised support student camp trips, enrichment programs, and classroom support staff. This is a small, ticketed event with limited capacity. Tickets are required for entry, and the event will take place at a private home in the East Village. The address will be shared with ticket purchase. A limited number of discounted community support tickets are available. Parents Night Out: Cocktails, Mocktails and Wine Tasting

Join us for the Fall Family Fling Potluck and Party!This community event will be a blending of our favorite TNS traditions. &nbsp;Part potluck, part fair, all fun. Each family will bring a dish to share and the kids can play in and the box maze, race toy cars in the car derby, as well as arts and crafts, DJ dance party, and much more!&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Date: November 16, 2025</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Location: The Neighborhood School</li></ul>Admission includes: plate of food &amp; beverage for the family, box maze and car derby access Staff raffle, photo booth, DJ requests, art activities are $1 tickets. Fall Family Fling Potluck and Party

Parents at TNS are organizing an opportunity to go see the reigning WNBA Champions, New York Liberty, at a home game on Friday, May 9 at 7 pm. The NY Liberty will welcome fans home to Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the first time since its historic 2024 championship win and will be playing against the Connecticut Sun.&nbsp; TNS has a block of 50 tickets seated together, so tickets will be sold in a first-come, first-served basis. If we sell all of the 50 tickets, we may still have an opportunity to purchase another block of tickets together, so please complete this <a fr-original-style="" href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScMZzg3-97TGAfxzm94iL0nz7K5HWJUgQJPUlZbM4xWnhbr_A/viewform?usp=header" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">waiting list&nbsp;</a>here if all tickets have been purchased.&nbsp; In addition, we also have a super exciting opportunity for the first 30 registered kids to participate in a fan tunnel before the game starts. They will be welcoming the visiting team, the Connecticut Sun, onto the court. This too will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. TNS kids will receive preference, then alumni, then friends of TNS kids. This outing will also serve as a modest fundraiser for the TNS PTA, which currently is behind in raising its annual goal. For those who do not have the funds to cover a ticket, we have made community tickets available at a discounted rate.&nbsp; An added surcharge of $5 will be added to every ticket purchased on April 9th, so please buy your tickets ASAP! The family ticket includes food and childcare for your kids for the entire duration of the party!
