One paw at a time! Paws Path to Furever, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit rescue in New Jersey dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating homeless animals, including those from Aruba. We provide essential care and a loving environment, for their furever path.

Most were extremely shy, unsterilized, and clearly hungry. We were able to give them food and water, but it was obvious that some needed far more help than we could provide in that moment.This week, thanks to the island&rsquo;s spay and neuter clinic, a trapper was able to safely catch several members of the pack. During intake, two young dogs were found to have&nbsp;TVT (Transmissible Venereal Tumor) &mdash; a contagious but highly treatable cancer spread through mating or close contact. The good news is that TVT responds extremely well to chemotherapy, and these dogs have an excellent chance at a full recovery.Our organization chose compassion. Instead of allowing these young dogs to be euthanized, we committed to covering their chemotherapy treatments.<ul fr-original-style="white-space: normal;" style="white-space: normal; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="white-space: normal;" style="white-space: normal; box-sizing: inherit;">Sandy requires two rounds of treatment and an eight‑day stay at the vet.</li><li fr-original-style="white-space: normal;" style="white-space: normal; box-sizing: inherit;">The young male (Danny)&nbsp; needed only one treatment and has already been safely released.</li></ul>The total cost of their care is approximately&nbsp;$600 USD.Your support will help us give these dogs the chance at life they deserve &mdash; and allow us to continue stepping in for animals who have no one else to fight for them.Thank you for believing in our mission.
