Boston, present day. As the Museum of Fine Arts prepares to unveil Tartessos: City at the Edge of the World – an exhibition of artifacts from a city that many scholars claim never existed – the guest curator vanishes. Was there an accident? Did he steal away with precious statuary? Or is it something less ordinary... and more suitable for a team of investigators from the Magnus Institute? Shifting corridors will draw them beyond the museum’s familiar walls and into a labyrinth where every path leads deeper into the City In-Between. To find the missing curator and return home, they must uncover what waits in Gallery 244—before they become part of the collection.
