Piper Optimist Club

The Piper Optimist Club empowers youth through sports and community engagement, fostering character development and teamwork. We provide opportunities for children to participate in athletic programs, promoting a positive and supportive environment.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLYTuesday, September 15th, 2026Piper Middle School Gym (4400 N 107 St, Kansas City, KS 66109)3rd &amp; 4th Grade Girls &ndash; 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm&nbsp; 5th &amp; 6th Grade Girls &ndash; 7:45 pm to 8:30 pm&nbsp; *Registration/payment must be completed in advance of Skills Assessment*Have &ldquo;Athlete&rdquo; WEAR TENNIS SHOES <ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">&ldquo;Participation / Instructional&rdquo; league</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Games played on Saturdays starting beginning Oct. 10th, 2026 and ending Oct. 31st, 2026.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">All teams play 6 games during the league schedule</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Practice 1 night per week&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Team T-shirt included in registration fee</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Family T-shirts can be purchased for $10 at registration</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Registration fee - $60.00 per athlete Money due at Registration / Skills test.&nbsp; Players will not be assigned to teams until payment has been received.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Credit/Debit Card or Check Payable to Piper Optimist Club.&nbsp;</li></ul>

2026 Piper Optimist Youth Volleyball - Registration

FLAG FOOTBALL TRAINING CAMP 🏈 is a hands-on skills camp led in the spirit of the Piper Optimist Club&rsquo;s mission to bring out the best in youth. Girls in grades 4-8 will run drills, learn plays, and build confidence in a supportive, upbeat setting. By registering, you&rsquo;re helping young athletes grow on and off the field&mdash;practicing teamwork, resilience, and a positive outlook that carries far beyond the game.&nbsp;

We love to volunteer at numerous events throughout the school year, but members are not required to.&nbsp;We meet on the second Wednesday of every month, August through May - just pay $10 at the door for each meeting and enjoy dinner and drinks!

2026 Piper Optimist Youth Basketball - Registration

The Tournament of Legends is Piper Optimist Club&#39;s annual basketball tournament honoring Lloyd &ldquo;The Legend&rdquo; Apperson. The tournament brings together top high school teams, exciting competitions, and community engagement.
