The North Dallas Sigmas, in conjunction with the 501c3 Progressive Initiatives, will host the 5th annual R.R. Walston 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Willie B. Johnson Rec Center in Dallas. THIS IS FOR EVERYONE, from competitive runners to casual walkers! Individual medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in men&#39;s and women&#39;s divisions. Early registration is $40 and will run through Sunday, Aug. 31. Late registration and on-site registration will be $50. THE FIRST 100 REGISTRANTS WILL RECEIVE A COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL. Registration for the walk will start at 9 a.m. The race will start at 10 a.m. FOOD VENDORS will be in attendance! WANT TO HELP BUT DON&#39;T WANT TO WALK OR RUN? Monetary donations will be accepted.
