Our mission
Punx With Purpose provides first hand perspective on the challenges threatening our youth today. Peers with lived experience empower the youth of Marion and Polk counties by meeting them where they are. PWP creates community and provide safe spaces where youth can gather and receive the resources they need to succeed as they grow into functional community members.

Background Check New PWP Volunteer
Thanks for stepping up to support our youth with Punx With Purpose!All of our volunteers who interact directly with youth (i.e., Street Outreach and Stormie’s Place) must pass a background check.To ensure we have committed volunteers, we ask that you please cover the $25 background check fee. If you’d prefer to work behind the scenes, a background is not required, but is preferred.Thank you for helping us keep youth safe and our operating costs focused on youth needs.

Punx with Purpose
Your gift fuels youth-led support for at-risk youth in Marion and Polk Counties. Punx With Purpose brings peers with lived experience directly to parks, streets, and pop-ups so youth ages 11–18 can connect to real help, on their terms. 🤝Every donation keeps our youth drop-in center open, mobile outreach running and our PUNX IN THE PARK resource fair and concert free and accessible. You help create safer spaces where young people can gather, be heard, and find the resources they need to move forward. 🎸
