Join us for the Pursue the Crown Cornhole Tournament, a fundraiser benefiting our 2027 Summer Collegiate Baseball Team, on Saturday, October 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Macken Park in North Kansas City, Missouri. Our mission is to provide our collegiate players with the same Christ-centered culture and experience they had at the high school level with Impact Athletes. Each summer, we bring alumni back together to compete, engage in Bible studies, dive into Scripture, pray together, and live out our core values of Hustle, Attitude, and Toughness. Above all, we want our players to understand that we compete for a purpose greater than ourselves—recognizing that our talents and opportunities are blessings from God and using them to glorify Jesus. In our first season competing in the collegiate league, our team won the Missouri Division Championship and advanced to the playoff semifinals. Funds raised through this event will help cover the costs of wood bats, uniforms, league fees, fields, equipment, umpires, scouting, and coaching stipends needed to provide our players with a first-class summer experience. Registration is $200 per two-person team and includes pool play to guarantee multiple games, followed by two tournament brackets based on pool-play results. Prizes will be awarded to the first- and second-place teams in both brackets. Lunch and drinks will also be available, with additional fundraising opportunities potentially including a raffle and board sponsorships for local businesses. Come compete, have fun, and help us continue building a baseball program focused on developing young men who play for a higher purpose. Tax-Deductibility: Pursue the Crown is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The registration fee for the Cornhole Tournament is $200 per two-person team. The estimated fair market value of goods and services provided in connection with registration is $50 per team. Accordingly, $150 of the registration fee may be tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the extent permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your individual circumstances. Refund Requests / Event Postponements: If we need to postpone the event due to weather, we will attempt to shoot for fall 2026 or at the latest, spring 2027. Regardless, the event will take place. We intend to maintain a no refund policy, regardless of the reason, to ensure we can leverage the donations received to benefit the players you are supporting!
