Cowboy Christmas at the Ranch is Rebel Ranch&rsquo;s annual holiday event&mdash;a chance to bring our community together, celebrate the season, and support work that reaches far beyond the ranch. This year, Cowboy Christmas has an even greater purpose.We are raising $30,000 to support Cowboy Christmas at the Ranch and continue Rebel Ranch&rsquo;s animal-assisted programming at the California Institution for Women. Our $30,000 Goal We are inviting local businesses and community partners to join us through contributions of at least $1,000. Funds raised through this campaign will be allocated as follows:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">$24,000 will support continued Rebel Ranch programming at the California Institution for Women for four additional months.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">$6,000 will support Cowboy Christmas at the Ranch.</li></ul>If we exceed our $30,000 goal, additional funds will be used to purchase CIW-approved equipment to improve the horses&rsquo; safety and comfort while at at the custodial facility. Our sessions currently operate in an open area without shade, making appropriate shelter and related equipment an important next step. Why Support the CIW Program? Rebel Ranch uses guided interactions with horses to help participants strengthen communication, trust, emotional regulation, personal boundaries, teamwork, problem-solving, and self-advocacy. The women do not simply learn about horses. They are given opportunities to recognize their own patterns, practice different responses, and experience what clear communication, accountability, and healthy boundaries look like in real time. The results and participant feedback gathered during the current program have been shared with CIW leadership. CIW has secured funding for two additional rounds of programming, and privately raised support will allow Rebel Ranch to continue building upon that progress with future programming. Your contribution helps us maintain that momentum. By supporting Cowboy Christmas at the Ranch, your business will help create a meaningful annual community event while supporting continued programming for women at the California Institution for Women. We are not looking for one business to carry the entire burden.
