In 2024, our choir students had the extraordinary opportunity to perform Mozart’s Requiem Mass at Lincoln Center with DCINY. We are honored to have been invited back, this time to sing at Carnegie Hall as part of Total Vocal: Holiday Edition, led by acclaimed a cappella conductor Deke Sharon.This concert celebrates the holiday season through a cappella music drawn from Disney classics, Broadway, and the American pop tradition. For some of our students, this trip represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform on one of the world’s most prestigious stages. Others will return having already experienced the life-changing impact of performing in New York City in 2024.In addition to the Carnegie Hall performance and reception, the trip includes visits to the Museum of Modern Art, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, and The Lion King on Broadway.Your generosity helps make these transformative artistic and educational experiences possible.
