Trauma Informed Lens: Community Organizations

Hi everybody - we&#39;re using this as our RSVP for group dinners during the ARCH Training at Red Horse Center. Many folks are arriving on Wednesday, so we&#39;re hosting a Pizza Night on the Porch beginning at 6:30 pm that night, and a Southern Feast on Thursday night.&nbsp; These meals are a welcome addition to our time together, but are optional, and not expected or required. &nbsp;You may invite significant others who are not part of the training registrants. We will have some beverages, and you&#39;re welcome to bring your own.&nbsp; These dinners are provided on a donations-welcome basis. &nbsp;The estimated costs are roughly $25 for food and non-alcoholic beverages per meal. &nbsp;Donations can be made here, or in the coffee can on-site, or not at all. &nbsp;We&#39;re happy to host you! RSVPs are appreciated for preparation, but you&#39;re welcome either way!

FEAST of EPONAEpona, the &quot;mare goddess&quot; or &quot;divine mare&quot; is known as the guardian of horses, ponies, donkeys, and mules. &nbsp;She is the protectress of those who care for horses and the guardian of agriculture and transportation. In gratitude for all of you guardians and caretakers we pause with Epona, a few nights before the longest night. Giving Circle Members | Volunteers &amp; Supporters are invited to join us for herd visits, bonfire, art, and fellowship. We&#39;ll have gl&ouml;gg, &AElig;bleskiver, (mulled wine &amp; apple fritters) and other snacksYou&#39;re welcome to bring something to share if you&#39;d like, which can include musical instruments! Red Horse Rainbow Ride at Douglas Halloween Parade

We are gathering to explore ideas, mindsets and methods that improve our ability to listen to horses and enhance our relationships. There is an emphasis on how this can help facilitated work in equine-assisted services, however, we believe the learnings to be universal and helpful to anyone striving to connect to their horses in a meaningful way. How we explore these ideas and shape the activities will reflect the group's interest and how you can gain support towards your objectives or challenges. Participants are then invited to join the herd at their own pace and at whatever distance feels comfortable. As we regather, short reflections are shared. Understanding how to implement these principles can positively influence interactions and the ability to support clients and collaborators.
