Trauma Informed Lens is a facilitated workshop, exploring how to shape ourselves and spaces to mindfully support and accommodate each other. It is a workshop series committed to improving the culture of connection and service to others. Variable Pricing from $75 to $180 per person&nbsp; Context:&nbsp;Who is this for and how does it apply? The principles of trauma-informed care are a paradigm shift for the care of self and others, professionally and personally. Understanding how to implement these principles can positively influence your interactions and your ability to support clients and collaborators. Learning how to apply these insights is helpful within many professional roles, including health care, education &amp; teachers, community support organizations, and leaders of all kinds. There are many positive outcomes available when we embody and work through a trauma-informed lens. This is essential for therapists and other caretakers who are responsible for helping clients heal from trauma. It is extremely helpful when in non-therapeutic relationships with other people, like co-workers, team members, and customers. This can be a transformational view of how to connect with others in any context. Red Horse Rainbow Ride at Douglas Halloween Parade

Join us as we share the beginnings of Juniper&#39;s Retreat House story with the Giving Circle and Red Horse Center supporters. &nbsp;You can tour the new space and enjoy snacks and beverages, as well as a Libation Ceremony at 4 pm. &nbsp; Registration here is helpful, and appreciated but not required. &nbsp;&nbsp; All you need to bring is yourselves, as you are invited to help us celebrate the community support that made this happen, and the potential unfolding as a result. &nbsp;We will also be launching our Fall Support Drive, and we will share opportunities to support next steps through volunteering and donations.&nbsp; For more information on Juniper&#39;s Retreat House and our ongoing project, visit <a fr-original-style="" href="//www.redhorse.red/junipershouse" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">www.redhorse.red/junipershouse</a>&nbsp;

Seth Bernard - House Concert Series

We are gathering to explore ideas, mindsets and methods that improve our ability to listen to horses and enhance our relationships. There is an emphasis on how this can help facilitated work in equine-assisted services, however, we believe the learnings to be universal and helpful to anyone striving to connect to their horses in a meaningful way. How we explore these ideas and shape the activities will reflect the group's interest and how you can gain support towards your objectives or challenges. Day 1: Saturday June 9th 9:00 am Welcome and Introductions 10 am - 1 pm: Nurturing Your HerdMindful practices of supporting and collaborating with our equine co-facilitators. 1 pm: Lunch 2 - 4 pm: Exploring Dr. Susan Fay's Sacred SpacesWe will review and practice activities from Sacred Spaces 4 pm - 5:30 pm Herd Meditation Herd Meditations offer peace and quiet, fresh air, and some time to slow things down with a supportive herd of horses. The herd meditation consists of a brief opening circle, followed by a seated guided meditation. Participants are then invited to join the herd at their own pace and at whatever distance feels comfortable. As we regather, short reflections are shared. No horse experience is required. 6:30 pm - Cookout on the Porch with The SouthernerWe'll have a buffet-style dinner from our Friends at the Southerner Day 2: Sunday June 10th 9:00 am Welcome Circle - Check IN 10 am - 1 pm: Widening Our Worldview: Implicit Bias Training:Separate ala-carte registration availableW.O.W. is focused on reducing barriers and disparities in access to and delivery of health care services in support of training requirement in the Public Health Code and Michigan’s BPL and LARA Our WOW trainings are experiential in nature and designed with an empowering mindset to encourage self-reflection, exploration of new ideas and an appreciation for perspectives and ideas beyond our own. We share relevant resources and research while also holding space for conversation, and discovery-fueled growth. 1 pm: Lunch 2 - 4 pm: Healing Culture Through a Trauma Informed LensThe principles of trauma-informed care are a paradigm shift for the care of self and others; professionally and personally. Understanding how to implement these principles can positively influence interactions and the ability to support clients and collaborators. Participants explore how to foster a positive, nurturing work environment, empower an intentional company culture, and enhance collaboration and creativity, while contributing to a healthy, resilient sense of well-being. 4 pm - 5:30 pm Closing Circle

Participants engage with us either through individual sessions, educational workshops, team retreats, or custom-tailored programs.<p fr-original-style='box-sizing:border-box;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:1rem;color:rgb(74, 74, 74);font-family:-apple-system, "system-ui", "Segoe UI", Roboto, "Helvetica Neue", Arial, "Noto Sans", "Liberation Sans", sans-serif, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", "Segoe UI Symbol", "Noto Color Emoji";font-size:16px;font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:normal;orphans:2;text-align:left;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:normal;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;' style='box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 1rem; color: rgb(74, 74, 74); font-family: -apple-system, "system-ui", "Segoe UI", Roboto, "Helvetica Neue", Arial, "Noto Sans", "Liberation Sans", sans-serif, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", "Segoe UI Symbol", "Noto Color Emoji"; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; line-height: 1.5;'>Mission: Inspired by the wisdom and healing power of horses, Red Horse facilitates a process of individual and collective transformation.
