LXCL:Our mission&nbsp;is to support&nbsp;organizations that service those&nbsp;with mobility challenges as well as individuals with disabilities and the caregivers who stand by them. We champion accessibility and inclusion by providing financial assistance, adaptive equipment, community programs, and access to essential resources.

Celebrate Marathon Monday and our dedicated team of runners at our Marathon Party! &nbsp;🎉 The event will have food provided, a cash bar, and of course bowling lanes and arcade games available. Enjoy some friendly competition while you wait for your runner to cross the finish line, or gather together after to celebrate their accomplishment once they&#39;ve completed their run! Ticket holders will be able to come and go, but must keep their ticket accessible for re-entry. Every ticket purchased for this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission of making a difference in the mobility impaired community. We will be celebrating the official kick-off of The ReM.A.R.C.able Foundation. Outside of costs and expenses, any funds raised will go to the Hutchinson/Campbell family and to the care of Mark Hutchinson. The Hutchinson/Campbell family suffered the loss of their mother, who was also Mark&#39;s caretaker. Mark was born with cerebral palsy, and his mother has been his caretaker his whole life. While mourning the loss of their mother, his sister, Kate, is also adjusting to caring for Mark in her house, which is currently not suitable for their new living arrangements. This fundraiser will help us to fund improvements to their house to create a safe enviornment for Mark to live with them in order to be better supported. &quot;Mark is a local celebrity here in Woburn! He is the official Weather forecaster for the Woburn Residents&rsquo; Facebook page, and he is also known as the guy on the hill who sits outside in the good weather up on Mishawum Road. He&rsquo;s pretty straight-forward; loves the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and the weather. Always a smile on his face; the best sense of humor. Mark was born with Cerebral Palsy and adopted by two of the most loving and dedicated parents; Joan and Charlie Hutchinson. His parents always pushed Mark to be the most independent he could be. Mark&#39;s Cerebral Palsy profoundly impacts his mobility and communication. He navigates the world using a motorized wheelchair and uses eye gaze technology to communicate with others. Despite the significant physical challenges, Mark is a dedicated and long-standing employee, demonstrating a remarkable work ethic. He has been at the same company for 29 years! However, his success in maintaining employment means that his earnings exceed the threshold for receiving substantial disability benefits, creating a complex financial challenge.&nbsp; The round-the-clock, specialized care he requires&mdash;including assistance with all basic needs and mobility is mainly an out-of-pocket expense. His parents were his sole caretakers for most of his life and were responsible for getting Mark to his peak independence in the work force. His parents have passed; his mom most recently this past May. Mark still resides in his childhood home, with around the clock care. His sister, Kate lives close by with her family and their plan is to add on an addition to her house for Mark to come live. Modifications to the house would include a hoyer lift with a track for multiple room transports, a lift to allow Mark to gain access to his sister&rsquo;s part of the house and a bathroom with a specialized shower chair. Mark&rsquo;s care is currently about $5,000 out of pocket each week; $20,000 a month. While Mark will still require a PCA, some of the hours will be covered by his sister and her family living right alongside Mark when the project is complete.&quot; -Mark&#39;s sister, Kate Spread the word, invite friends, and let&#39;s make a difference in the lives of the Hutchinson &amp; Campbell families. We couldn&#39;t do this without you!
