Rhapsode Guild

Rhapsode Guild empowers artists through collaborative workshops, fostering creativity in music-drama, storytelling, and theatrical fusions. We provide a supportive environment for emerging and established artists to develop innovative projects and connect with peers.

"Fish the Fish" is a live studio laboratory for new work conceived by composer Tian Qin and realized by percussionist Bensen Kwan and dancer Maribel Plasencia. Developed in a series of open educational workshops for young artists, this creative fusion blurs the roles of musical performance and theatricality. By joining us, you support a creative community where emerging and established artists experiment, learn, and perform together. Your presence helps sustain workshops, mentoring, and performance opportunities for young and interdisciplinary artists across Greater Houston 🎶

Open to singers, actors, dancers who sound, interdisciplinary artists, adventurous beginners, and instrumentalists interested in participating fully in the workshop’s vocal, movement, and ensemble-based activities.
