Roosevelt University Green Lake Little League

Roosevelt University Green Lake Little League fosters youth development through baseball, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and community engagement. We provide a safe environment for children to learn and grow, building lifelong skills and friendships.

🎉 Excitement is in the air! Join RUG Little League at Husky Softball Stadium as the UW Huskies take on the UCLA Bruins. &nbsp;RUG is the official Team of the Game! April 24, 20267:00 pm Tickets are available at the discounted price of $21 (face value is $31). Limited to 150 tickets. First come, first served. As Team of the Game, 30 RUG softball players will be allowed onto the field during the National Anthem. Seats are outfield, general admission.

We&rsquo;re incredibly proud to share that one of RUG Little League&#39;s own, Camille Linscheid, has been selected to participate in the <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.littleleague.org/legacy-series/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; -webkit-user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">2026 Maria Pepe Little League Baseball Legacy Series</a>&mdash;a national event that celebrates and elevates girls in baseball. She is one of only 96 girls from around the country selected for this honor. Camille - the only girl in RUG&#39;s AAA Baseball Division - will have the opportunity to represent our league while playing alongside other talented athletes from across the country. While event costs are covered for Camille, her family will need to cover travel expenses to be there and support her. RUG Little League is organizing this fundraiser as a way for our community to come together and help offset those costs.&nbsp; Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help with flights, ground transportation, and meals so her family can be there to share in this special experience. All contributions will go to RUG Little League, which will manage the funds to support the family&rsquo;s travel expenses. Any amount, big or small, is greatly appreciated and reflects the strength and generosity of our community. Thank you for helping us rally around one of our own and celebrate this incredible achievement. ⚾

The HIT-A-THON is RUG Little League&#39;s only annual fundraiser! Hit-A-Thon pledges and donations to RUGLL are 100% tax-deductible and will be used for new equipment, uniforms, clinics, scholarships, field reservations, and other program improvements. We hope that each player will raise at least $50 to reach our goal of $20,000.&nbsp; The Hit-A-Thon will take place on Saturday, May 2nd for most divisions, and on Sunday, May 17th for Tee Ball. If you&#39;re interested in calculating a &quot;per foot&quot; donation ahead of time, typical distances for players to hit the ball are as follows, by division: Tee Ball &amp; Coach Pitch -- 50-120 ft., AA &amp; AAA -- 100-180 ft., Majors -- 100 &ndash; 220 ft., Big Diamond Players -- 150-250 ft. Give in honor of a player or team to back their hits and their hard work. Your support helps us keep RUG Little League accessible to more families, season after season. 🙌
