The Mine
Welcome to THE MINE.With one dirty fingernail, Scratchy, our archaeological miner of the macabre, entices you into the deep dark depths of THE MINE! What discoveries lie below? Let us tell you!First, a story of a gambler who sees that he has been dealt a bum hand, but refuses to look at it. Problem is, they don't like being ignored. Another is the story of a loving husband who can't wait to get home to his wife, but " JESUS CHRIST, HONEY! LOOK AT ALL THAT MUD YOU'VE TRACKED IN!" Lastly, a story of a man who doesn't quite hit rock bottom, but....well you'll see.Chaz Gentry writes, and illustrates his debut comic in this limited run anthology of HORROR, HUMOR, and a little bit of WHIMSY.THE MINE is entirely hand drawn and shaded. Taking from November 2023, till November 2024, it was almost entirely inked and shaded on Bristol paper. A labor of love to the craft of older horror anthology comics. Also littered through the book are a few extra goodies as well. Links to past works in film and video, and a few nuggets of art created along the way.
