Thanks for checking out our fundraiser! As many of you may already know, the Slöyd Bus was actually meant to be NEXT year’s big project. But, due to some extenuating circumstances, we made a really big push to get it going this summer so we could continue delivering our most important part of our mission: PROVIDING SLÖYD TO AS MANY LOCAL KIDS AS POSSIBLE. We’re really proud of the fact that we’ve been able to achieve this with our new, beloved bus. NOW, we’re working on how to continue this momentum through the school year! Of course, the semester’s already upon us, so we’re scrambling a bit to coordinate this. We are working on coordination with Hurley, Ironwood, Wakefield and Mellen school districts AS WE SPEAK for after school programs! We’re also starting another year of Slöyd with the Superior Homeschool Co-op next week too! We’ll be teaching 2 classes to their amazing kids, every other Wednesday for the rest of the year. MANY thanks to Driftless Design Build for sponsoring SEVEN CLASSES IN FULL (!!!) for the co-op.
