San Diego Center For The Blind

The San Diego Center for the Blind empowers individuals with vision impairments through training and services, fostering independence and self-reliance in the community. They promote inclusive activities like cycling, enhancing quality of life for all.

The 22nd Cycling for Sight with the Blind Stokers Club, August 8-9, 2026 is for everyone to enjoy. CFS is a community based experience and fundraiser for the San Diego Center for the Blind (SDCB) and the Blind Stokers Club (BSC). The SDCB has a 50 year history of enabling independence and self-reliance to vision impaired residents throughout San Diego County, with two campus facilities offering complimentary training, and services. The BSC enables the joy and freedom of cycling and other activities for those who cannot see well enough to pilot a bike, using a partnership model pairing visually impaired and sighted partners.&nbsp; Each registrant is expected to customize a CFS campaign fundraising page and invite friends and family to support the cause. &nbsp;If your employer has a charitable program, please file for employer donation and contact Jose Navarro at SDCB 619-583-1542.
