🍫✨ WILLY WONKA JR. is coming to town! ✨🍫Sand Creek Community Schools&rsquo; 3rd&ndash;6th grade students are ready to transport you to a &ldquo;world of pure imagination&rdquo; in **Roald Dahl&rsquo;s Willy Wonka JR. **&mdash;the delightfully zany musical based on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.📅 Showtimes: Friday, March 6 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, March 7 at 2:00 PM📍 Where: Dawson Auditorium &ndash; Adrian College (Adrian, MI)Tickets: Presale tickets are $5 for general admission. &nbsp;Presale VIP tickets are $7.50. &nbsp;Presale will end on March 31. &nbsp;Tickets online and at the door will then be $6 for general admission and $10 for VIP.🎟️ Why you should come: Expect big laughs, catchy songs, colorful characters, and a whole lot of heart&mdash;performed by our amazing Sand Creek kids!💛 Proceeds support the arts: Ticket sales directly contribute to the arts programs at Sand Creek Community Schools, helping fund student performances, materials, and future productions.Bring the family. Our Sand Creek Choir has been invited to perform at the Cedar Point Festival of Music &mdash; an adjudicated choral competition that allows students to perform for professional evaluators and receive meaningful feedback on their musical growth.This experience directly supports Michigan and National Music Standards, including:<ul data-end="826" data-start="565" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="618" data-start="565" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Performing with expression and technical accuracy</li><li data-end="670" data-start="619" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Demonstrating ensemble skills and collaboration</li><li data-end="723" data-start="671" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Responding to and applying constructive feedback</li><li data-end="757" data-start="724" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Reflecting on artistic growth</li><li data-end="826" data-start="758" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Connecting classroom learning to real-world performance settings</li></ul>This trip serves as a culminating celebration of a full year of music-making. Our students have worked hard to grow in tone quality, blend, pitch accuracy, public speaking, and stage presence. Performing in a formal competition setting allows them to showcase that growth while gaining confidence and pride in their accomplishments.Cost:<ul data-end="1324" data-start="1172" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="1256" data-start="1172" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">$75 per performing student (festival participation + one-day park admission)</li><li data-end="1324" data-start="1257" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">$41 per non-performing adult or student (park admission only)</li></ul>Dr. Stewart has already contributed $100 to secure our registration.If possible, please pay for your child&rsquo;s participation.If you are able, please consider donating toward another student&rsquo;s attendance so that finances are never a barrier to participation.This collection platform does not charge fees, so 100% of your contribution goes directly to supporting our choir and music programs.Thank you for helping us finish our year strong &mdash; performing, competing, celebrating, and growing together as musicians.
