The Sargent Volunteer Fire Department extends a heartfelt plea for your support. Our department is a member lead and operated organization made up entirely of volunteers. As champions of service, our department is fueled by the dedication of volunteers covering an expansive area of 160 square miles. Today, we reach out to individuals like you, our community pillars, as we confront unprecedented challenges. Previously donations like yours has allowed us to acquire a used Rescue truck, equip it with cutting-edge extrication tools, and enhance our ability to respond swiftly and safely to vehicle accidents. More recently we used community donations to acquire an offroad rescue vehicle with the ability to transport the injured from beaches and other remote locations. Additionally, your generosity facilitated the acquisition and installation of equipment to keep our equipment and gear in a ready state and a water tank enabling us to refill our tanker trucks and return to the emergency scene more efficiently. Our pressing need today is the purchase of wildland fire fighting gear for our fire fighters. Each suit costs $1,500.Your tax-deductible donation will not only contribute to the critical repairs and improvements of our equipment but will also support our effort to recruit, outfit, and equip volunteers to serve this community. We envision a future where our emergency response is safer and more efficient, and your support propels us towards that goal. Exciting news awaits as we announce our next annual BBQ scheduled for May 2, 2026, with preparations already in full swing. Your generosity will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of this event.
