Warren Elementary Jog-A-Thon 2026
The Scappoose Elementary Parent Organization (SEPO) sponsors events and programs to raise money for our school. In the fall, the Annual Warren Jog-a-Thon engages the whole community to promote healthy choices and movement for our students while simultaneously raising funds for enrichment programs and supplies. What happens on the day of the Warren Jog-a-Thon?This is a rain or shine event! During their PE class times, students will run or walk as many laps around the playground track as possible (approx. 1/14 of a mile). The # of laps your student runs will be recorded. Pledge Envelopes will be given back to students the next school day so that they can start collecting their earnings. Note: The average amount completed is about 12 laps for kindergarten. What is our goal?To reach our goal, we encourage each student to aim for raising $50 or more in donations (Each student who raises $50 or more will receive a special prize!). Pledges can be per lap (i.e. $1.00 per lap) or a flat donation (i.e. $25.00). We ask that you approach family and friends, and accompany your student during this process. Every dollar helps us reach our goal!Where does the money go?Money raised from this event will support many of the student enrichment programs sponsored by the Scappoose Elementary Parent Organization, including:Field trips, assemblies, subscriptions, school community events, teacher allowances for classroom supplies to support engaging learning, and more! Pledge Donations need to be completed by the end of the day Friday, October 23rd.
