SHADOW CATS TNR, INC

LXCL:Shadow Cats TNR, Inc. focuses on the welfare of community cats and pets in need, utilizing Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and spay/neuter programs to control cat populations, facilitate adoptions, and educate the public on responsible pet ownership in Harford County and beyond. We are currently raising funds for our Capital Campaign to acquire a shelter. All funds raised between now and Sep. 30, 2026 will be matched by a generous donor up to $200K.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;We have outgrown our current facility and are looking to expand our outreach and services in Harford County, Maryland and beyond. We are looking to acquire a building where we can house animals and care for them as we continue to expand our operations to fulfill SCTNR&#39;s mission in our community.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Total # of cats SCTNR spayed or neutered in 2025 = 2,198&nbsp;Total&nbsp;# of cats SCTNR placed in indoor, forever homes in 2025 = 294&nbsp;Total # of barn cats SCTNR placed in working homes in 2025 = 91

Every silent auction bid supports Shadow Cats TNR, Inc&rsquo;s Capital Campaign, funding the purchase of a shelter space needed to continue and expand our services to trap, neuter, return, and care for community cats. It will also provide housing for our adoptable cats. We will be adding new items to our silent auction as we get them, so keep checking back! All donations by the winners of silent auction items will be matched by a generous donor up to $200K by September 30, 2026.&nbsp; If you win one of our silent auction items or raffles, someone will contact you about how to claim your prize.
