Martinez while supporting the Shafter Lions Foundation in its mission to strengthen and serve our local community. Proceeds from registration will support local service projects that promote health, education, and essential resources for residents of Shafter. We invite you to lace up your running shoes, bring your family and friends, and join us for a meaningful morning of remembrance, respect, and community spirit.

Un atalaya no es un mero espectador. El rol no se trata de crear miedo, sino de responsabilidad. Hoy, los muros ya no son de piedra&mdash;son las barreras morales, espirituales y sociales que moldean nuestro mundo. Y las amenazas que enfrentamos a menudo son silenciosas: apat&iacute;a, verdad distorsionada, injusticia y silencio. Esta reuni&oacute;n es un llamado a la vigilia. Today, the walls are no longer stone&mdash;they are the moral, spiritual, and social boundaries that shape our world. And the threats we face are often quiet: apathy, distorted truth, injustice, and silence. This gathering is a call to wakefulness. Faith was never meant to be passive. To be a watchman today is to see clearly, speak faithfully, and act with courage and love. It is to refuse silence when truth is at stake and to choose obedience over comfort.In an unsettling world, God still calls watchmen to the walls&mdash;not to condemn, but to warn; not to divide, but to protect life and point toward truth.
