LXCL:Silver City Street Outreach provides vital support to vulnerable community members facing substance use and mental health challenges. Through harm reduction, crisis response, and outreach, we save lives and foster connections to care in underserved areas.

This nonprofit provides that vital support to its most marginalized community members in New Mexico, a state with the highest burden of substance use and addiction on its population. Not receiving proper physical, mental, or emotional care is especially a concern&nbsp;for people who live in rural areas, and those who are unhoused---two groups this nonprofit primarily serves. Silver City Street Outreach&#39;s dedicated volunteers are on the front lines of overdose prevention, crisis response, and harm reduction, and are grounded in the principle of meeting people where they are, which has been shown to prevent overdose and save lives. As a grassroots organization, every dollar donated makes a marked difference in Silver City Street Outreach&#39;s impact!
