Skaneateles Troop 61

Skaneateles Troop 61 fosters youth development through scouting, promoting leadership, community service, and outdoor skills. Our mission is to empower young individuals to become responsible citizens and leaders in their communities.

Cast a line with Skaneateles Troop 61 on our Otisco Lake Fishing Trip 🎣. Scouts will practice safe boating and fishing skills while learning patience, teamwork, and care for the outdoors. Please register each scout and adult attending so we can plan gear, meals, supervision, and transportation. This trip supports our mission to build responsibility and confidence through hands-on adventures by the water 🌲.

Otisco Lake Fishing Trip

Join Troop 61 for a weekend on the trail as we hike to the Tupper Lake fire tower, set up camp, and practice real outdoor skills. Scouts will work together on navigation, camp setup, and Leave No Trace stewardship. 🏕️ This trip supports our mission to build character and responsibility through hands-on experiences in the outdoors. Please register each scout attending so we can plan gear, food, and transportation safely. ⛰️Our return Sunday is an estimate and we will give updates Sunday morning for our departure.
