Become an Ozanam Leadership Circle Annual PartnerThe Ozanam Leadership Circle is named in honor of Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, who helped establish the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Paris in 1833. Ozanam and his fellow university students were challenged to demonstrate their Catholic faith through action. Guided by Sister Rosalie Rendu, they began visiting people in their homes and providing practical assistance, including delivering firewood to families in need. Their example created a worldwide tradition of personal service rooted in compassion, dignity, and respect.Today, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Chicago continues this legacy by helping neighbors facing hunger, housing instability, financial hardship, and other urgent needs. Through a network of local Vincentian volunteers, we provide food, clothing, household essentials, emergency assistance, and the reassurance that no neighbor has to face a difficult time alone.Ozanam Leadership Circle partners make an annual commitment that provides dependable, year-round support for this mission. Their generosity helps strengthen our programs, equip our volunteers, respond to emerging needs, and build a more sustainable future for the individuals and families we serve throughout Cook and Lake Counties.Annual partnership is available at four levels: Community, Compassion, Mission, and Leadership. Each level reflects a shared commitment to putting faith into action and serving neighbors in need with dignity and compassion.
