Support our Venezuelan Friends in the aftermath of devastating Earthquake 🇻🇪 Sol & Son Dual Language Academy is heartbroken to see the tragic devastation and loss of lives and property in Venezuela following the double earthquake that hit yesterday, June 24th. Our teacher, Jiji Rivas, along with her husband, Juan Avila, lost their apartment in Venezuela. This is an apartment that Juan's parents work extremely hard in the U.S. to provide for their families. As we know, Venezuela is not like the U.S., and there will be no insurance settlement to come for many. We want to raise money to support not only the Avilas, but to send as much aid as we can to our friends that live and work in the chaos that is surrounding Caracas now. These funds will go directly to families connected to the Avila family, as they see needs from where they are living in Venezuela.
