The Mystical Maguey is not just a dinner; it is an immersive journey. You will see, touch, and taste the extraordinary history of the agave plant &mdash;a symbol of resilience and beauty in M&eacute;xico and the borderlands. You&rsquo;ll savor tastings, enjoy live demos, and share a multi-course dinner infused with tequila. The highlight? Renowned Chef Roberto Gonzalez will ignite tequila into flames before your eyes as he prepares his signature aguachile. Practice making gorgeous garnishes for all your drinks, get recipes for aguafresca, sew with agave thread, and carve you name on a penca, like the song by Vicente Fernandez. These are just some of the delightful experiences you will discover at The Mystical Maguey. Your ticket directly funds the D&iacute;a del Ni&ntilde;o festival and the development of Cultura Cards available for families and educators to share culture. These resources make cultural heritage accessible to children who deserve to see themselves reflected in history.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong fr-original-style="box-sizing: inherit; font-weight: 700; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Roboto; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; letter-spacing: 0.25px; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit; font-weight: 700; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Roboto; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; letter-spacing: 0.25px; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial;">The&nbsp;Mystical Maguey dinner is our only annual fundraiser, and every table ensures that our free cultural programs &mdash;including the beloved D&iacute;a del Ni&ntilde;o Festival &mdash;continue to grow.
