My mission has always been to feed animals and people who struggle to survive on the street, but I try to help anyone who reaches out. Brownie, my Corgi blend rescue for nearly seventeen years, taught me what unconditional love is and gave me the strength to keep going even as my illness made life harder. She inspired me to get up every day and fight to feed others, even when it’s tough to be seen in a world with so many needs. Her snuggles and kisses brought joy to every day of my life, and I want to celebrate and never forget how she helped me start this journey.
