The South Bend Firefighters Association supports firefighters facing medical hardships through community events like the Heroes Golf Outing, ensuring that those who serve our community receive the assistance they need during challenging times.

Come enjoy us for golf, raffles, food and drinks. Known for 30 years as &quot;The Joz&quot; has been renamed as Local 362 Heroes Golf Outing.&nbsp; Registration will start at 8am. There will be several raffles to get excited for! Shotgun start will start at 9am sharp!&nbsp; Each year, the South Bend Firefighters Local 362 hosts a golf outing to support a member of our firefighting family facing medical hardship. For more than 30 years, this event has allowed us to stand behind the heroes who have dedicated their lives to serving our community.This year, proceeds from the Heroes Golf Outing will benefit Captain John Fleming, a lifelong South Bend resident who has served on the fire department for 44 years. Captain Fleming is currently undergoing aggressive treatment for bladder cancer, and we are committed to supporting him and his family during this difficult time.
