Join Alicia at Gasaway Farms to learn to make two different kinds of empanadas (sweet and savory), pupusas, and tortillas. We will enjoy our hard work at the end of class and depending on class size, there may be leftovers to take home.

Latin American Cooking Class

Participants are welcome to come before class to enjoy an herb walk led by Monica at 10am, class begins at 10:30am. Discover herbs commonly used in First Aid such as comfrey, St. John&#39;s Wort, plaintain, bee balm, calendula, and yarrow. Monica will share herb facts and uses and lead the class in making your own salve (or two!) to take home.

Herbal First Aid Make 'n' Take

Join Ian Kozaczek, a licensed Wisconsin cheesemaker and cheese monger, &nbsp;as he facilitates a demonstration on the fundamentals of cheese making. Learn about the cheesemaking process in a fun, informal group environment. The class will offer taste-tests, pairing suggestions, and opportunities to connect with fellow cheese enthusiasts.

Learn to make beeswax food wrappers and leave with a set of three in three different sizes. A variety of cloth patterns will be available for selection.
