Chris' story is told in the book and movie American Sniper, which chronicles his life with family and service during many combat tours as a United States Navy SEAL. Taya continues to rise above her grief and pain with her kids, Colton and McKenna Kyle. They use their platforms to honor Chris's life and build on what they learned through their life with him and their tremendous grief following his death. Taya continues Chris's legacy of serving those who serve us through their family's non-profit TACK-F, Taya and Chris Kyle Family - Service Marriage Strong. Taya also provides hope through speaking engagements and writing. Taya became a New York Times best-selling author with her first book, American Wife, and in 2019 released her second book – American Spirit – a collection of short stories chronicling the lives of inspirational people she has met through her travels who show the American Spirit is as strong as ever. Her first in a series of Children's books, Prayers for Bears, was released in April 2024 with Bailey the Grateful Bear. Please join her on social media @TayaKyle on Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and X so she can stay in touch with helpful tips on Faith, Family, and Healing. We are thrilled to welcome Taya Kyle as our keynote speaker for Paws & Pearls Journey into Healing Gala.
