Stay True Play True

Stay True Play True empowers young athletes through basketball while fostering community support. They raise funds for the Jason Kidd Foundation, ensuring athletes can participate and give back, promoting growth in girls' basketball and leadership.

Since 2017, Team Kidd Texas has equipped DFW based student-athletes to excel both on and off the court. We are set apart by our commitment to developing the whole child while teaching valuable lessons through wins, losses, adversity, and triumph alike. Today, more than 150 amazing athletes spanning 3rd through 12th grade play for Team Kidd Texas.Unfortunately, there are many families and athletes in our program facing financial hardship. To serve these families and sustain programming, we created &ldquo;Stay True, Play True,&rdquo; a 501(c) non-profit. The Stay True, Play True platform is used to fund our scholarship program, which assists players within our program to cover league and tournament fees, uniform costs, player development, and other volunteer opportunities to serve our community. The continued impact and success of these endeavors is highly dependent on community partnerships, fundraising, and direct donations.
