Struthers Regional Operators of Amateur Radio promotes emergency communication and community service through amateur radio. They provide training, support, and engage in activities that enhance public safety and preparedness in their region.

Struthers Regional Operators of Amateur Radio is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a Firman 3000 watt Generator! Just in time for Spring storm season. The generator has a 1.8 gallon tank with up to 9 hours of run time at 25% load, has an electric start, has 5 outlets, and 5.5&rdquo; wheels for easy portability! Raffle tickets are $5 each. Only 150 total tickets will be sold. Local pick-up only. Winner drawn on March 10, 2026 at our club meeting.

Please join us on Saturday January 31st for the First Annual Struthers ROAR (Regional Operators of Amateur Radio) Mid-Winter Hamfest!&nbsp; A hamfest is a flea-market style event for amateur radio &amp; GMRS radio enthusiasts and the public to buy, sell and trade equipment &amp; electronics, explore new technology, meet other radio operators &amp; their families, take license exams, enjoy great food and win great prizes! Everyone is welcome - you do NOT need to be a radio operator to attend. We will have non-radio vendors as well such as local restaurants, baked goods, crafts, custom apparel &amp; more! We will be giving away gift cards, radios &amp; radio gear, and will have a 50/50 drawing. The grand prize is an Anytone 25-Watt base station radio package including 50&#39; of LMR-400 coaxial cable, dual-band base station antenna &amp; 30 amp power supply valued at over $500.
