Survivor Resource Center empowers survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through support services, education, and advocacy, fostering healing and resilience in our community.

G.A.M.E. ON! Against Violence is a FREE one-day sports skills camp and violence prevention event for youth. Athletes will be taught valuable skills by experienced professionals, for on and off the court. Participants will each receive an event T-shirt and swag bag. Grab-and-go lunch will be provided, and this camp is for all athletes in grades 2nd-8th. Only 75 spots available!! By registering, your youth athlete will help strengthen violence prevention efforts in our community. This event is brought to you by the Violence Prevention Coalition of Vermilion County.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is a positive way for members of the community to show that they are taking a stand against violence while also raising money to support the free services provided by SRC! Check-in begins at 9:00am and the walk begins at 10:00am. Join in our important (and fun) one-mile march to raise awareness about the difficult topic of sexual violence against women. Just as it isn&rsquo;t easy to walk in high heeled shoes, we know it is also uncomfortable to talk about sexual violence. At this event, men and all community members are encouraged to march wearing women&#39;s high heels. We provide the shoes! Each year we have hundreds of men, women and children of all ages join us for this powerful event. Open to individuals or groups of family, friends or coworkers. All registered walkers will receive a t-shirt. Sponsorship opportunities are available and greatly appreciated!&nbsp;

Camina una Milla en sus Zapatos es una forma positiva para que los miembros de la comunidad muestren que est&aacute;n tomando una postura en contra de la violencia mientras recaudan dinero para apoyar los servicios gratuitos proporcionados por SRC! &Uacute;nete a nuestra importante (y divertida) marcha de una milla para crear conciencia sobre el dif&iacute;cil tema de la violencia sexual contra las mujeres.
