Team Up Mentoring Inc empowers kids and teens through mentoring and summer camps, fostering growth, leadership, and resilience in a supportive environment. Their programs focus on STEAM education and trauma-informed practices to inspire confidence.

I&rsquo;m turning 40 🫠&nbsp;🫠&nbsp;🫠&mdash;which feels both impossible and, according to various parts of my body, completely accurate. When I turned 30, I celebrated by raising money for Team Up Mentoring. I was incredibly proud of what my friends and family made possible, and ten years later, there is still no cause closer to my heart. Team Up surrounds children and families affected by trauma with the kind of safe, consistent relationships that can change the direction of a life. I&rsquo;ve had the extraordinary privilege of watching children grow up here. I&rsquo;ve seen them discover their strengths, step into leadership, graduate, and begin imagining futures that once felt out of reach. This work has shaped my life just as surely as it has shaped theirs. 🎂 So, for my 40th birthday, I&rsquo;m hoping to find 40 people willing to make a gift of any amount&mdash;and together, raise $4,000 for Team Up. But heartfelt fundraising alone didn&rsquo;t feel quite chaotic enough for this particular milestone. As donations come in, we&rsquo;ll unlock a series of increasingly ridiculous challenges for me to pull off involving embarrassing photographs, questionable fashion choices, public dancing, my children being given entirely too much authority, and one grand finale I may come to deeply regret. FIRST CHALLENGE: 🔓📸 The Forbidden Archives:&nbsp; At $500, I will publicly release a collection of photographs that I have expressly forbidden my family from sharing. Yes, mom, *THAT* photo. These images have remained classified for decades. For $500, apparently, I can be bought. The Other Challenges....&nbsp;🔓 $1,000 &mdash; Tiny Stylists, Total Control&nbsp; Aurora and Willow will choose my entire look for a day&mdash;and I&rsquo;ll wear it publicly.🔓 $2,000 &mdash; Dance Like Everyone Donated Donors choose the dance; I perform it publicly at Coffee Camper and post it to my socials.&nbsp;🔓 $4,000 &mdash; Roast Amy for a Reason&nbsp; My friends, family and coworkers will lovingly roast me&mdash;with public evidence.🔓 $5,000 &mdash; Amy Gets Her First Tattoo&nbsp; I&rsquo;ll choose three small designs I love, and donors will vote on my first tattoo.&nbsp; Every gift counts. Whether you give $10, $40, or something larger, you&rsquo;ll be helping Team Up continue showing up for children and families for the long haul&mdash;and helping everyone else unlock the next chapter of my public humiliation. I honestly don&rsquo;t know what we can raise and maybe secretly hoping we don&#39;t get too far...&nbsp; but turning 40 seems like an excellent time to find out.
