Create your own spooky stained glass design with stained glass artist at Julie. &nbsp;You will be guided through foiling and soldering precut glass pieces to create your own spooky design. &nbsp;Through this process you will learn many of the basics to create your own stained glass creations at home. Join me for this beginner-friendly stained glass workshop! While this class is perfect for some one who wants to give creating Stained Glass a try. During this two-hour hands-on class, each student will create their own honeycomb stained glass suncatcher to take home. You will be introduced to the classic Tiffany copper foil method as you wrap each piece of glass in copper foil, solder your project together, and add the finishing touches. All glass pieces are pre-cut and ready to assemble, allowing you to focus on learning the techniques and enjoying the creative process. No previous stained glass experience is necessary. You&#39;ll receive step-by-step instruction, demonstrations, and plenty of individual assistance throughout the class, ensuring you&#39;ll leave with a beautiful finished piece you created yourself. All supplies, tools, and safety equipment are included. The workshop is taught by Julie Starbuck, owner of Sparkle and Shine Stained Glass. Create Your Own Handmade Suncatcher

Discover stained glass from first cut to final polish in this hands-on, two-day beginner class.&nbsp;You&rsquo;ll learn to design a simple pattern, safely cut glass, grind glass to fit correctly apply copper foil, and solder your own finished piece to take home. Proper safety techniques, design considerations and creating smooth solder will be taught. &nbsp;Students can make their own simple pattern or use an instructor designed pattern. &nbsp;Average completed project will have 5 - 7 pieces. Instructor will provide all tools and equipment. &nbsp;Some glass will be available and included, or students may choose to purchase glass (Available during class or retail establishment of choice). &nbsp;Solder, foil, flux and cleaning materials provided. Students must be over the age of 16. &nbsp;Safety glasses and closed shoes (no flip flops or sandals) required.
