Brazoria County Library System Foundation&#39;s annual fundraising event Evening with the Author featuring Glenn Starkey is April 30th 6pm at the Brazoria County Fairgrounds. The Foundation raises money to support the Brazoria County Library System, specifically the Summer Reading Challenge, which helps prevent the summer slide, or the decline in students&#39; reading ability over the summer months. &nbsp;The proceeds from the Author Dinner will fund materials for activities and special guest presentations that are part of the Summer Reading Challenge.
