This is a small group coastal camping trip at Second Beach- built for quiet beauty, ocean air, and slowing down. Sea stacks, tide pools and long stretches of wild shoreline. 🚨 TCOC OFFICIAL EVENT REGISTRATION 📣 🏜️ TCOC | Grand Canyon NP🗓️ May 22&ndash;25, 2026South Rim | Dispersed Camping | Choose Your Own Adventure We&rsquo;re heading to the Grand Canyon! This will be a South Rim basecamp trip with choose-your-own-adventure days. Hike below the rim (wisely), explore overlooks, rest, wander, or just sit and take it in. We&rsquo;ll gather in the evenings for fellowship and also have one night dedicated to worship.&nbsp; A few important realities: The Canyon is stunning. It is also a desert. And it does not care about your ego. We are not planning to do rim-to-rim. The North Rim still has partial closures due to the fire last year. &nbsp;There will be a separate post about hiking below the rim as water sources are frequently shut off, and elevation change is no joke. If you hike down, you are hiking back up. We&rsquo;re here for beauty and encounter- not dehydration or rescue missions. Camping will be dispersed and fully rustic. No bathrooms (we will have a privacy tent and portable toilet there). Generally, no water (we will have some drinking water available, but plan to bring your own). No trash service.&nbsp; Wild West rules.&nbsp; You must be completely self-sufficient and practice Leave No Trace.&nbsp; GPS coordinates will be sent later. All ages and families welcome. No pets. Meals are DIY (you&rsquo;re welcome to coordinate informally with others). ______________________ Event Fee: $40 (includes firewood, use of privacy tent/toilet, some bottled water and electrolyte packets) ______________________ Come ready for awe, wisdom, and worship. We&rsquo;re gathering August 21&ndash;24, 2026 at Camas Bible Camp near Leavenworth, WA for a long weekend of learning, worship, and community in the outdoors. This is the first time we&#39;re doing something like this, and we&#39;re excited for it. ✝️ This event is for every experience level. 🎚️Never built a fire? 🔥Come.Already own too much gear? ⚙️ Also come. Our heart is simple: to help more people feel confident outside while building meaningful community along the way. We are hoping to lead sessions that cover a variety of topics, chosen by you! During registration, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to check which sessions you&rsquo;d like to attend. Session topics include:&nbsp; 🛏️ Camping 101: Tents, Sleeping Bags/Pads, campfires, water purification, etc 👩🏼&zwj;🍳 Camp Cooking 101: Endless Possibilities&nbsp; ✝️ Meeting God in the Outdoors: How nature impacts our relationship with the Creator 🥾 Camp/Adventure Safety 101 ⚙️ Orienteering 101: Map &amp; Compass Reading, Knowing Your Terrain, etc For the highest ranked sessions, we will have those structured teaching blocks, but it&rsquo;s still a choose-your-own-adventure kind of weekend- with plenty of space for connection, rest, play, devotionals, worship, and testimonies. &nbsp;TCOC OFFICIAL EVENT REGISTRATION&nbsp; 🍁 TCOC | Waterbury, VT 2026 (Fall Foliage) 🍂&nbsp;September 25-28, 2026 For the Fall Foliage Event 2026, TCOC is venturing to the mountains of Vermont! Get ready for a long weekend of adventure, community, brilliant fall colors, and loads of fun - think pleasant days with friends spent galavanting in dense color and crisp nights curled up by a fire. 🏕️🌲🌠&nbsp; This event is a plan-your-own-adventure event, meaning the schedule is wide open to fill with any kind of fun you can cook up, and the area has much to offer, whether its hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking trails (including at the campground!), taking gondola rides up the mountain, or sipping delicious drinks and munching donuts. 🚠🧗🚵 We will be 🏕️ tent-camping 🏕️ in the Mt. Mansfield State Forest at a campground near Waterbury, VT and should be there during peak fall colors. For those who it may concern, the campground does indeed have token-operated hot showers and *flush toilets*. ALL MEALS are on your own. If you are flying in and/or need help with this, please reach out in the group chat so we can help make this as easy as possible + provide inspiration. Additionally, the area offers many restaurants, cafes, and groceries stores. For those driving in, offers of space in coolers for people flying in are super appreciated! 👍 The event is capped at 28 people and is family-friendly. If your kids feel up to adventuring in Vermont, we are glad to have them along! Per the rules of the campground, only those who are registered to camp will be allowed into the campground.
