An afternoon of music with baritone Efra&iacute;n Sol&iacute;s and pianist Marika Yasuda, featuring a new commission by composer Juan Sebasti&aacute;n Cardona Ospina highlighting the story of Andry Hern&aacute;ndez Romero. Praised for his &quot;theatrical charisma and musical bravado,&quot; baritone Efra&iacute;n Sol&iacute;s recently made his Metropolitan Opera debut as Salvador Dal&iacute; in the world premiere of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. graduate of San Francisco Opera&#39;s Merola Program and Adler Fellowship, he is joined by San Francisco Opera Adler Fellow alumna, pianist Marika Yasuda, for a special performance of favorites from the art song repertoire. The centerpiece of this program will be the premiere of Festival Opera&rsquo;s new commission of a song cycle &quot;Borders of Dreaming&quot; by Juan Sebasti&aacute;n Cardona Ospina&nbsp;with text by&nbsp;Michael Colbruno, lifting up the voice of Andry Hern&aacute;ndez Romero.
