Our mission is to provide nourishing pay-what-you-can community meals in a welcoming setting where every guest is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.As we prepare for upcoming community dinners, restaurant partnerships, fundraising events, and outreach opportunities, we are building a volunteer list of people who would like to serve alongside us.Volunteer opportunities may include:Greeting guests with kindness and hospitalityHelping seat guests during community dinnersServing food and drinksAssisting with event setupHelping with cleanup after eventsWashing dishes or resetting tables, when neededSupporting restaurant partners with approved tasksHelping with check-in or guest flowAssisting with fundraising eventsHelping with t-shirt/swag fundraiser pickup or distributionSharing the mission through social media and community outreachHelping connect us with sponsors, churches, businesses, or restaurantsJoining our prayer and encouragement support teamServing wherever help is needed mostYou do not need restaurant or food service experience to volunteer. Board members provide governance, strategic leadership, financial oversight, and community advocacy while also contributing their time, talents, and expertise to help advance our mission.We are currently seeking to fill three voting board positions. We especially encourage individuals with previous nonprofit board or governance experience to apply, though experience is not required.
