The Mormon Battalion Association

The Mormon Battalion Association preserves the legacy of the Mormon Battalion, educates the public about our contributions, and fosters community through events, activities, monuments and markers that honor our history and values.

Mormon Battalion Association Invites you to Join their entry in the Days of 47 parade.&nbsp; Persons must be 14 or older both men and women are invited. Arrive at 8:00 AM at the corner of South Temple and State Street.&nbsp;Please dress in Pioneer clothing. No bright colored tennis shoes. You will be responsible for your own transportation back from Liberty Park at the conclusion of the parade.&nbsp; We would like the men to participate as part of the Mormon Battalion. &nbsp;Please bring a pick or shovel as we are going to highlight the Mormon Battalion as a road building crew as well. &nbsp;We do have Battalion accouterments for first come, first served. &nbsp; For More information or to reserve a costume for the men, call Laura Anderson 801-898-9085 or Greg Christopherson 714-318-6644
