LXCL:The New York State CASA Association advocates for children in foster care by providing trained Court Appointed Special Advocates. Their mission is to broadly support and develop local volunteer advocacy on behalf of the best interests of abused and neglected children.

In this interactive session, attendees will be given tips and tools to ensure you are being a successful development team member at any level. Foster Care Bill of Rights Learning Session-- Led by the CASA-NYC Youth Advisory BoardYouth in foster care have rights&mdash;but too often, they don&rsquo;t know them. In a recent CASA-NYC Youth Advisory Board survey, 65% of respondents reported not knowing their rights.This session aims to change that. Through this learning experience, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Foster Care Bill of Rights and leave with practical tools to better support and advocate for young people.
