Join us for the general admission premiere of &ldquo;A Beautiful Place.&rdquo; This documentary from The Power of One Inc follows the emotional aftermath of TWA Flight 260, inviting honest reflection, healing, and shared remembrance. 🎬&nbsp;On February 19, 1955, TWA Flight 260 departed Albuquerque with 16 people on board en route to Santa Fe, and shortly afterwards crashed into the Sandia Mountains. A rescue operation was immediately launched into the mountains to search for survivors, but sadly all 3 crew members and 13 passengers had perished. With this moment as a launching point, &ldquo;A Beautiful Place&rdquo; is a feature documentary film which explores the emotional journey and stages of navigating tragedies such as this. The premiere will be held in the same location that the passengers and crew of TWA 260 departed from, the old TWA Terminal at the Albuquerque Sunport, preserved much as it was in 1955. Come spend an engaging and reflective evening with some of the family of Flight 260&rsquo;s passengers, as well as the crew of &ldquo;A Beautiful Place&rdquo;.Our film premiere will raise money for the TWA museum.&nbsp;

A Beautiful Place: KC VIP Film Premiere at TWA museum

Welcome to A Beautiful Place Silent Auction 🌟At the world premiere of A Beautiful Place on March 21st, 2026 we will be auctioning off a 4&#39; x 4&#39; canvas painting of the Sandia Mountains in Albuquerque, New Mexico by artist Vicky Lovett.&nbsp; Vicky&#39;s description of the painting: The circle of life has many stories: A plane crashes, creates a need for a rescue team, lives are lost, remembered in a flag ceremony, crosses are left at the site , one for each lost life and one for the plane, as humans come together to grieve and heal. It&#39;s a place of sadness yet it&#39;s a beautiful place. There are words expressing the relationship of love and death. We are all connected by the loss of something we love. Vicky Lovett grew up in Kansas City. Her first piece of artwork was completed and sold at the age of 10. &nbsp;She later studied drawing and painting at Arizona State University. Vicky particularly likes to paint horses and wildlife. Her paternal grandmother, Dottie was also an artist and guided Vicky as she learned her craft. Vicky&rsquo;s artwork can be found for sale at Stonetree Coffee &amp; Pottery in Mound City, Kansas where she now lives.
