We are adding Afroletics™ to Tidewater African Cultural Alliance's Dance classes! Afroletics™ is a high energy Afro Rhythm fitness program that blends powerful movements, original music and cultural roots. Created by German based Ghanaian dancer and trainer Isaac Kyere, Afroletics™ turns Afro inspired rhythms and simple, repeatable movements into a full body workout that is accessible to everyone, regardless of background, age or experience. It is a rhythm driven experience that combines Afro inspired movements, functional training techniques and original Afroletics™ music created to move with intention. You do not need a dance background, only the willingness to move and feel the groove. Every session brings a strong sense of community and culture.Whether you join for the music, the sweat or the connection, Afroletics™ is designed to make you feel powerful, free and fully alive. We are working on adding Afroletics™ classes to our offerings, and invite you to come join our Executive Director and instructor Rita Addico Cohen, as she teaches this live class as the final step to her Afroletics™ instructor certification!
